Frequently asked questions....

Home

Q: What makes Kreiser's Kritter Sitters a better option than boarding?
A: Boarding your pet requires transportation to and from the kennel, placing your pet in unfamiliar surroundings with a number of strangers, and placing them at risk for a variety of airborne illnesses, or even attacks from other pets. I keep your pet safe and well-cared for in the environment where they are most comfortable, their own home. You know they will be fed their own regular diet, play with their own toys, walk in their own neighborhood and exercise in their own yard.

Q: How is Kreiser's Kritter Sitters different from other in-home pet care providers?
A: I stand behind the care I offer. My visits average 45 minutes to an hour at comparable fees. I am always educating myself on pet-health, and am currently working towards being the ONLY local pet-care provider Accredited by Pet Sitters International.

Q: What areas of Lebanon County do you cover?
A: I live in the Northern part of Lebanon County, and provide in-home pet care, including daily dog walking to Jonestown, Fredericksburg, Lebanon, Cleona, Annville and Myerstown pet parents.

Q: When I schedule pet care through Kreiser's Kritter Sitters, who will be my pet care provider?
A: I run my business full-time, by myself. You can rest assured that I will be the one meeting with you and your pet, I will be the ONLY person who has access to your home, and I will be providing the professional care you and your pet expect.

Q: Isn't it expensive?
A: Nope! I offer a wide range of care to fit your budget AND your pets' needs.

Q: Is Kreiser's Kritter Sitters insured?
A: Absolutely! I carry a liability insurance policy that protects you from financial loss in the event I am liable for any accident that occurs while caring for your pet.

Q: Can I just give you my garage door opener/code?
A: I will accept an opener or code if that is the way you would like me to enter your home. However, to ensure I can gain entry to your home in the event of a power outage, I also require a key.

Q: What if my pet becomes ill while I am away?
A: If I suspect that something is wrong with your pet, I will call you at the emergency phone numbers I have on file for you. If you believe the veterinarian should see your pet, I will transport your pet to the veterinarian's office for examination and treatment. In the event I cannot reach you, I will decide if your pet should be seen by the veterinarian. If necessary, I will take your pet for treatment.
